[Jack was not living his best life. His changes were erratic, sometimes painful, and they weren't always leaving him in the same condition. Sometimes it was a partial change, sometimes mostly a change and other times a whole change. He missed functional thumbs whenever he was in this form, but he had figured out doors, some tools and didn't mind being able to run about as quickly as a wolf.
He grunted as Gabe decided to pet him, ramming his head against the older man's hip and then side, using that as a way to scratch his white muzzle. Gabe was pack, and thus, the older man was the most comfortable to be around.]
