The tank was on empty, hadn't really been a whole lot of it left, but it had lasted well over half an hour at the very least. Been no reason to keep it on when it wasn't helping any, and Gabriel just... hadn't felt like hooking up the last one there. Why bother? If his lung was re-filling with blood it would have been wasting air.
That plastic spork was tapped against the package, "Can't." Finish it up.
