He figured that he had to give credit where credit was due, and these snakes were smart and cunning. They clearly had Gabriel's best interests at heart.
Since they seemed to have answers, more so than his and Gabriel's strange attempts at courtship under the guise of friendship, Jack tilted his head to glance up at the group that seemed united in their purpose on this. "You want us to court each other? To become... mates eventually?"
He understood the weight of that. Gorgons mated for life, and it wasn't as if Jack was prime 'mate' material.
