"There isn't any hurry. We are in a good position to remain out of sight and out of mind, so you should take the time that you need. If you heal, the faster we can eventually travel."
Jack had his own ways of dealing with things, and honestly he'd never had a reason to not take jobs and just travel his way through his life. The fact that he found himself willing to remain here was strange to him, and he knew he would need time to think about what it meant and why he was doing this.
