His appearance was very different in those encounters after all, and it was so far away from the mines most wouldn't believe they could be the same creature- "At most there may be an entirely separate bounty made." Who knows if humans even knew a gorgon had two different forms they could take, for all he knew they could think it depended on if it were a half or full blooded one.
He let himself sort of sink in amongst his coils, watching Jack move- "For the time being, yes." There was no possibility in his min it would last longer than needed, even if any part of him could want different.
"I'll make myself comfortable to bask after you leave, for now this is good for speaking with you."
