Jack paused in putting out some of his rations when Gabriel stretched and without the heat of needing to go pressing in on them, he could get a good gauge of how long and bulky Gabriel was. An impressive sized gorgon and likely could do a nasty spit of venom too if threatened or just plain wanted to. Still, it was good to see Gabriel move, and it assured him that his healing helped.

He was offering dried meat and fruit before adding some bread and cheese to the mix as well. He'd need to pick up more soon, and none of it was extremely fresh, but it will fill an empty belly. "Eat some of this. It should be easy enough on your stomach and give you some energy while I get the fire built and check if I caught anything."

He shrugged at the question, mostly not used to being asked. "I rested, and I'll be alright. I need to get better at my healing magic clearly."
