There were reasons that once long ago snakes did gather in large number when gorgons did live in communities within large enough cave systems. There were just legends and stories about it now, twisted no doubt, but snakes had always been wonderful messengers for them even amongst themselves. Any that could understand, and allow warnings to be passed without anything else intercepting.
Now there was hardly a reason for it with how few and far between they were, some bit of fear. Yet he still gave that option if it was wanted. "I'd rather it not myself," been doing well enough as it had been.
There was the sound of amused hissing from under his hood, but Gabriel leaned and lightly flicked the end of the hunter's nose- "You'd be the only one to get an invite. Take care of yourself, Jack."
