Jack was definitely the loyal type, and the fact that he had earned himself a mate that would hopefully be life-long just settled him into a sense of peace about the whole affair. He looked over at his mate as he wiped his mouth with a napkin at the mention of tomorrow and reached out to cup the omega's face. "It's going to be fine. A little rough questioning as they always do, but you're in command. They can't take it away from you because something they gave you failed. It wasn't in the field, no one died, and if anything, you can press the advantage that you are now more 'controlled' because of it." Alpha and omega pairs tended to react only off of each other after all.
