People feared what should have killed someone, and people didn't exactly like to have someone around who had to hide their face because of the scarring. "I appreciate it. He would have to do something about that chimera too, since the scavengers would be coming in hard once word got out. Chimera parts were high value, and he wasn't about to let that many people up in the mines where they could stumble upon Gabriel. "Well, most people that see you won't be alive to tell the tale of it," he pointed out. "And most lay people don't have access to the spells necessary to hide their sights."
He nodded his head, listening to Gabriel as he ate. "Probably never lonely, since you always have something to talk to."
