The hunter would be surprised if he did ever engage, that would be for certain.
He didn't trust those words, nor the hunter's intentions by word alone, not when he knew what his own bounty was and how most other hunters he'd ever come across acted. This was more likely to be some like or trick than hold much honesty in it. A few grains of truth always did those well, he'd heard of this king and his intentions after all-
"We'll see." There was more of a hiss then, head tilted back as he listened to something deeper within. A change in the air. "You should leave."
