He hummed softly, aware that Gabe didn't talk about the fact that the older man was bisexual. It was such a contentious orientation, one he had never ever understood. If a bisexual man was dating a woman, they were considered 'straight', and if he was dating a man, he was considered 'gay'. LGBTQ looked down on bisexuals even now. "I like that you are who you are, and you will love who you love." He was also very glad that Gabe had decided to love him in the same way that he loved the older man. "Yeah. We just need to off-set this war and bring it to a close, survive it and everything." No big deal, right?

It was important in any and all military functions that one knew their unit had their back. While the new units hadn't been reassigned yet and thus would still need to train together, Jack was confident that he and Gabe would become a duo of their own sorts. Tomorrow they would face their peers and Gabe the military brass, but they would do it together no matter what.

He leaned forward to grab another slice of pizza and leaned his head against Gabe's shoulder. "Just think that if we're on the same unit, we can have sex in so many interesting places."
