All the same, this wasn't an all or nothing sort of thing after all.
Hopefully he wouldn't need the back-up, and he trusted that Jack could handle things on his side of it. No doubt there'd be poking and prodding and the attempt at gossip, but that would hopefully be the worst of it. Hopefully.
