Later in the week, it had been about snuggling, bonding and looking after one another. A commander who was best prepared with the most up-to-date information would put all those under his command in the best standing that information and the ever changing landscape of battle would allow. And Gabriel was an excellent battlefield commander.

Morning debrief and sparring session late morning would be interesting. He knew he had nothing to worry about, and Gabe could handle himself just fine. Jack would still back him up if it was wanted. "Yeah, lots of catch up, but you've handled worse before. You always show your best and people respond to that." Forever the optimist at this point in his life.
