It was a chore being up when it shouldn't be, since he had just been up not that long ago, even if it had been leaning in on Gabe and sleeping. Now he was up under his own power, and that felt like a battle in and of itself, especially since he apparently had to stay upright. It forced him to lean against the headboard after a little swaying, and he was groaning to himself about how much he was sore.
"You look pale," he managed to remark because it looked like Gabe might puke in a moment's notice. He suspected that was getting up and moving around when they honestly barely had the energy to exist. He looked beyond Gabe for the pills that they had stolen out of the ambulance, considering how to get them from there to into Gabe's mouth. Was he actually going to have to lean over and get them? Probably.
So he did, making terrible progress until he was literally flopped over Reyes' hip and fingers fumbling with the bottles to bring them closer. He barely managed to right himself, refusing the cup of water until he had dished out three tablets of each type and then took the cup to replace it with pills. "Take those. You probably can't feel any worse with them on board."
"I'm cold," he admitted. His skin was clammy and pale, a shiver running through him as he sat there trying to convince himself to take a sip of water. "It hurts to move too. Figure you're the same."
