He turned his head to regard the merman behind where he sat, making certain that all was well for the time being. He blinked when his hand was taken, a subtle flinch likely felt, but he also didn't pull away. He was a man who was not used to being touched anymore. "It's not webbed or anything," he joked as he settled his unease to touch and allowed the merman his hand.
