He grunted at the comment, tipping his head a little down. "I get pessimistic when I'm not healing fast enough. You know I hate feeling like dead weight." He knew Gabe was teasing him, urging him to keep his chin up, but he was tired and sore like his bond. The confusion of not knowing where they would go, what would be waiting for them and what kind of life they would have left only added to that burden.
